Welcome back to Senior Season! I love this time of year, when I get to revisit these amazing kids, celebrate their accomplishments and cheer on all the graduations!
Today’s featured graduate is Gabriel. In a nutshell, he is an old soul in a teenager’s body. He loves classical and jazz music (like, a lot!) and when he decides to go after something, he goes ALL IN. For example, he’s been playing soccer since he could walk, he’s a 2nd degree black belt and accomplished trombone player.

I'm applying to a bunch of different colleges in-state. I'm undecided as to what I want to do in the future.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE CLASS?
Music. It is a universal language, so it brings people together like no other subject.
ACTIVITIES + SPORTS
I am a soccer player, trombone player, and a 2nd degree black belt in karate. I'm also learning to speak French.
SPECIAL ACHIEVEMENTS
I've played varsity soccer for one year. I am also the section leader for the trombones at my school.
SPECIAL ACHIEVEMENTS
Winning the principal chair in MYSO's Metropolitan Symphony and being invited on a tour to Belgium and the Netherlands next summer.
ON A RANDOM SATURDAY I WOULD PROBABLY BE..
Practicing trombone or watching TV. Maybe I'd hang out with my friends if they're up to it.
