Black and White or Brilliant Color? | Stories Framed Photography | Milwaukee Child and Family Photography
I was out scouting locations for a few upcoming family sessions. As it's the summertime, I had to drag my kids along with me. I asked really, really nice (okay, bribery may have been involved) if at least one of my two children would consider acting as a stand-in model for some test shots. I pulled out my best Pathetic Mom Face and everything. My daughter rolled her eyes at me and went back to her iPad. But David, my buddy, he gave in. What he actually gave me was the Yes You Are a Pathetic Mom But I'll Be Nice and Help You Out Face. He's got that one down solid.
I wished he would have changed out of his Minecraft t-shirt, but then again, I am certainly not going to look a gift horse in the mouth. Look at it this way, in five years, we will find these pictures and wax nostalgic about how obsessed he was over Minecraft. Ah, memories.
So here are the results from the Bribery-Induced Mini Test Shoot. As I was admiring them, I came across a predicament. It's the same one I always have. Color? Or black and white? Color? Or black and white? Ah! It's such a tough decision because I just LOVE the brilliant colors that come from outdoor sessions. The vivid colors are so bright they almost seem to glow. But first, let's look at the black and whites. They are stunningly GORGEOUS (even with a Minecraft shirt on)....
And now feast your eyes on this Emerald City...
Tough decision, right? Now imagine your kids in the place of mine. And even better, imagine them wearing something besides Minecraft Camouflage Green. Perfection! And that, my friends, is the easiest decision of the day. Call or email me today to get your session booked on my calendar. I happen to know the perfect little spot...
