HOW DID YOU GET STARTED IN YOUR FIELD OF WORK?
I am an artist and I love to travel. Years ago I had an idea to create a Scavenger Hunt in a travel guide. I had done this with my children and they loved it. So after many years and detours I-finally completed my first book! It is a unique travel guide with me engaging in a conversational tone guiding you to sites and having you find often overlooked things and then I explain and we move on. There are 3 different hunts in the book moving around places in the city including walking directions. Its scary that it is out there now for sale but also very exciting. I hope to return to the city of Florence, Italy and write another. There is so much history I could probably write 4 more!
WHAT IS ONE THING PEOPLE think THEY KNOW ABOUT YOUR JOB?
Thats it's easy to write a book and that it should have been completed along time ago. So many times people have asked,"Your not done yet?"
Research, research and more research. Dates, names, artists it's a lot of work .Then comes edit a million times and printing proofs. Now to begin the advertising which I feel is almost even more difficult than creating the book.
NAME ONE THING YOU WISH PEOPLE KNEW ABOUT YOUR JOB?
It's very enjoyable and I love it but it is a lot of work.

Everything! ( minus the social media )
WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO SOMEONE STARTING OUT IN YOUR INDUSTRY?
Keep going and don't give up.
