Muskego class of 2023 Sneak Peek | Taylor
I want to invite you to a sort of behind-the-scenes and inside-the-mind moment….
Part of my process for a successful senior portrait experience includes a Pre-Session Consultation. There are many reasons I do this. Here are some of them:
You get to meet me BEFORE the day of your photos.
I get to know you BEFORE your session.
We talk about what you WANT from your session.
Mom gets to see the wall art and albums BEFORE the Reveal + Selection Appointment and start dreaming.
Essentially, it all boils down to YOUR comfort and MY preparedness.
Today, I want to focus on #3:
Where do you want to go?
What type of look do you want to achieve through your images?
How does your personality, taste and style come into play?
Are we including hobbies, sports or skills into your photos?
What kind of clothing should you wear to make the location and style merge?
How we can work together to make it all come together?
Without these important keys, the session is basically a closed door. Without meeting before your session, I don’t know you and have no idea at all to make this a magical experience for you (or even JUST an experience!).
Imagine meeting your photographer on the DAY OF your photos? Eeek.
Where would you even meet?
How could you trust that she knows what you want?
This 60 minute appointment doesn’t seem like much, but it is EVERYTHING.
When Taylor and her mom came to my studio to meet me, I did not know them at all. Through friendly conversation and lots of questions, not only did we get to know each other, we were able to target an exact plan for her senior portraits.
I’m really excited to share not just one Sneak Peek photo but TWO. Why? You’ll see.
We NEVER would have been able to achieve these equally awesome - and entirely opposite - looks without planning and discussion.
We started with Frame Park and ended with Skateland.
She started purely angelic and ended totally jaw-dropping.
This is the Taylor I now know and adore.
Wait for it…. and… BAM!
Let’s talk about what YOU want for your senior portraits. Scheduling the Pre-Session Consultation is just as important as scheduling the actual session.
