Wauwatosa East HS class of 2021 Sneak Peek | Zach
The day after Zach’s senior portrait session, his mom Jen sent me this note:
I really, truly ENJOY my job. (Although I’d hardly call it a “job”.) I really do enjoy working with high school seniors, getting them to smile, laugh and play around with expression. I also love seeing the look on their faces when I show them the back of the camera.
Most people don’t know what to expect. They think “what they see is what they get”. Take this behind-the-scenes shot from Jen. It’s fine, right? Pretty scenery, handsome son, tons of mosquitos - I mean, what else could you possibly need? (Ed. Note: Bug repellent that works, maybe?)
And then there’s the back of the camera.
I always make sure the senior and the parent can get a glimpse of what I’m capturing. Showing them the back of the camera occasionally during the session helps raise the senior’s confidence. It also signals to the parent (usually the one paying for it) that they made a good decision in choosing me as their photographer.
Before you scroll down to the "back of the camera” Sneak Peek, I must tell you that Zach is the sweetest of kids. I’m pretty sure he wouldn’t hurt a fly…. unless it was a fly ball headed to left field. He plays baseball for Wauwatosa East High School and he is a proud member of the Class of 2021.
Here is Zach…

Were you as pleasantly surprised to see the “after” shot? What was your reaction as you scrolled down? Imagine that’s your son.
As I’ve said so many times… I LOVE MY JOB.
Have you put off senior photos long enough? Now is the time to get your appointment scheduled for your class of 2021 senior! Let’s talk - do you want indoor or outdoor? Do you want formal or casual? Do you want rustic or modern? I will help you narrow the options to make these portraits of your child the best they can be.
