Every single time I have a portrait consultation, I get some of the same questions. The most frequently asked question? “What should I wear?”
And as if I were a broken record, every single time I give the same answer.
WEAR WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY.
Wear something that is YOU.
Wear something you are comfortable in and makes you look GOOD.
When Joshua and his mom came in, they asked me this question. And I gave them the same answer.
Joshua is a skateboarder and is usually (ALWAYS) seen in a t-shirt and a flannel. So why wouldn’t he wear just that for his senior photos? Especially if I’m going to photograph him with his skateboard.
Just imagine if Joshua showed up for his session in a suit and tie. It would be like an earthquake in Wisconsin. Not right and totally out of place.
THIS is Joshua. He’s a senior at Wauwatosa West and a member of the class of 2022. I just LOVE this shot of him so I thought I’d share it as his Sneak Peek.
