Wauwatosa West HS class of 2020 | Justin Steinike
I’m slowly rolling out the class of 2020. True, it’s a little early. Graduation (or, um, the time period traditionally reserved for it) is not for a few months yet. However, this year’s graduating class needs a little extra love. They got cheated out of the last half of their senior year. So let’s celebrate them and send them some good vibes!
Allow me to introduce THE Justin Steinike, a member of the Wauwatosa West High School 2020 graduating class. {and the crowd goes wild… each cheering from their own home}
We did part of his session in the high school’s gym. With the ugly (sorry, gyms everywhere) fluorescent lights glowing brightly, anyone would have wondered what exactly I was thinking. Oh, don’t you worry. I know lighting and I can make it do things for me that you wouldn’t believe.
For example, I can make it look like the gym was not lit up at all. And that there was a spotlight on him. And dark and dramatic and moody and cool all at the same time.
This next one is my favorite…. a quiet, contemplative moment before taking that shot.
Here’s something you might not know about our star athlete - in January he was named the TMJ4 Athlete of the Week. What a huge honor! Congratulations Justin!
For the second half of Justin’s senior portrait session we headed outdoors. It was mid-July with record high temperatures, yet Justin did a GREAT job looking cool. (Sorry.)
He was very natural in front of the camera. I’m impressed. This next shot looks like it should be in an ad…
This coming fall, Justin will be attending Carroll University to study and play basketball. Good luck! I can’t wait to hear how well you do in college - and beyond!
Hey Class of 2021! Do you like what you see? Do you want your senior photos to show off your favorite sports and your best skills? Let’s talk and plan it out.
