“Can I bring my trombone?”

Yes! 100%! Absolutely! Yes, always and forever.

I love when my seniors want to include something special that they love, believe in and enjoy.

In the case of this young man, Derek, I found something magical about him when he posed with his trombone. He seemed to come alive. Of course we did some shots with no instrument but it actually felt like something was missing. As they say in the south, “bless his heart”. I found that little discovery to be so endearing.

And then… one of the things Derek wanted was to wear the theater t-shirt for a few shots. He works for the tech crew for Tosa West Theatre. I will never EVER say no to that.

And now, let me introduce you to Derek from the class of 2021.
