Beautiful 50th Anniversary Portraits | The Stelters
When I met Chris and her husband Lee, forgive me, but I truly fell in love.
This is one of the sweetest couples you will ever meet. And they picked me to capture their 50th Anniversary portraits.
Their entire family - from near and far - was gathering for their anniversary party so why not gather a little bit early for family photos?
Allow me to introduce the happy couple - Lee and Chris.
I created this stunning composite photo of the entire family. This hangs in their living room and I can guarantee it’s a point of conversation for anyone who visits their home.
I’ll give you one guess who is labeled “the fun family”…
When we plan a multi-generational family session, we will plan out the details so the day of the session there is no doubt as to who is being photographed and why. We don’t want anyone left out, we don’t want to forget any little details and we want to make sure everyone is getting what they want out of the day.
This includes the individual families and children. Sometimes, when the kids are younger, families will ask me to photograph them individually as well - instead of the school photos, they can hang these portraits in their homes!
When the kids are older, like in this family, this may be the only opportunity you get for a professional portrait to be made outside of any larger, more formal events (starts with W- ends with -edding). Aside from going off to college or work, moving away and beginning their own lives, it can be difficult to get them to “come back to the nest”.
I’m so glad we could make this session happen for this lovely family and ALL the grown kids, parents and grandparents.
When is the last time you had a formal, professional portrait with your grown children? One that is truly worthy of being framed on your wall?
Thank you to the Stelter family and congratulations on all the years of love and marriage… and family.
Let’s talk about your next multi-generational family portrait session. I’m here to walk you through the entire process, from scheduling to framing.
