WHO IS YOUR IDEAL CLIENT?
I love working with first-time homebuyers, but client's with a willingness, and eagerness to learn about the process are my favorite to work with.
HOW DID YOU GET STARTED IN YOUR FIELD OF WORK?
I had dabbled in many sales positions, but wanted to do something where I could help people make a larger purchase. My friend was already a loan officer, and brought me in to see how I liked it.
WHAT IS ONE THING PEOPLE think THEY KNOW ABOUT YOUR JOB?
People think that we sit behind a desk for most of the day, but a lot of my job is driving around, meeting people, and spending a lot of face-to-face time with everybody.
NAME ONE THING YOU WISH PEOPLE KNEW ABOUT YOUR JOB?
I wish that our clients knew how hard we fought for them behind the scenes. There are a lot of things that we do not share with our clients, as to not worry them, and give them extra stress. However, sometimes that has the appearance that we are not working on their files.
WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT YOUR JOB?
There is nothing like helping a client close on their new home. It is the best!
WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO SOMEONE STARTING OUT IN YOUR INDUSTRY?
Take advice from as many industry professionals as you can, but don’t take too much advice from any one person. This job is all about making it your own.
