8th grade graduation | Sneak Peek for Emme
With graduations and promotions being cancelled, postponed or going virtual, parents are looking for other ways to make their kids feel special this season.
Beth called me to set up a “graduation” session for her daughter, Emme.
Emme is graduating from 8th grade.
I’d like to introduce the one and only, the beautiful Emme… she will be heading to Brookfield Central High School in the fall.
I’m so excited for you! I know you’ll do great!
Why not schedule a special portrait session for your eighth grader? Perhaps it’s been….a few years…. since your last family session?
Here’s a list of reasons you NEED to get updated photos of your 8th grader.
COVID STOLE THEIR CELEBRATION. Need I elaborate? No graduation, no smiles (unless behind masks), no parties. You can’t even go on that family trip this summer. Portraits last forever and don’t require waiting in lines or boarding passes.
TWEENS ARE IGNORED. Little kids are so cute. Before school starts and even into elementary school, they are photographed ALL. THE. TIME. And then, as though a bell rang to sound the end of teeny-childhood, middle schoolers either are ignored or want to be ignored. Let’s change that! Let’s photograph our tweens!
THEY HAVE BRACES. Whether they are getting them on or taking them off, this is a momentous occasion that is, quite honestly, FACE changing. I work with the child’s comfort level on baring their brackets. Some don’t mind, some are embarrassed. I make sure they look their best either way and that you have photos to look back on.
HIGH SCHOOL CHANGES THEM. Once these kids start high school, it’s a mad dash toward the next milestone (graduation and college). Let me tell you from personal experience, from stories I’ve been told, from tears I’ve seen moms shed, IT GOES WAY TOO FAST.
YOUR FAMILY PHOTOS ARE ___ YEARS OLD. I know you. I see you with the family photos that are this many fingers old. Perhaps there’s even - gasp! - a kid MISSING from your latest photo. Let’s fix that ASAP.
